For me, it all began with a quiet need:
To feel safe.

As far back as I can remember I’d move my furniture around in my bedroom when I felt frustration in my body. I loved how it felt. The ability to create new areas of comfort and security in the one space I had the most control over in my life.

I didn’t know it then, but what I was doing was regulating my chronically stressed out nervous system and clearing out stagnant energy built up from executive dysfunction. I was healing myself through the cultivation of a conscious relationship to my environment.

This phenomenon is a scientifically proven truth in many studies. However, don’t take my word for it. All it takes is conducting your own experiment to draw your own experiential conclusion.

At the end of the day what matters most is how you feel.

Feng Shui is an attention to the impact the environment has on how we feel. It encourages recognizing the true power we have in our ability to transform our environments, and by extension, transform ourselves.

Sometimes the first and biggest challenge we face is the nagging feeling that we need someone’s permission to start.

We don’t.
